​HOW DOES A BERGMANN BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP WORK?
The Bergmann Center sub-contracts with local industry partners to provide actual employment opportunities differently-abled individuals served by the center. Bergmann provides training and hands-on supervision of all services performed for business partners.
Differently-abled individuals are trained and supervised by Bergmann Center staff to perform various employment functions including piecemeal work, packaging, assembly, hand/drill press, gauging and inspection at the industry’s location or at Bergmann's Activity Center. In addition, the Bergmann Center provides a crew with supervision for cleaning services.

The Bergmann Center assumes responsibility to assure that the individuals are compensated according to the proposed wage, and assures that payroll taxes and any other local, state or federal wage reporting is completed on behalf of the business partner and the individual.
