Be the Impact.
100% of all donations go toward the designated campaign objective, or program services. Program services include necessary client/public interaction, such as life or independence skills training, or workforce development training. Whether it is travelling to Chicago, a Traverse City Pit Spitters game, birthday celebrations, monthly movie days, online apprenticeship training, or learning individual living skills such as home maintenance or cooking a healthy meal, be assured your donation is going toward the Bergmann Center’s community inclusion and work training programs. Your valued donation allows individuals to be supported in their endeavor to lead a more independent life and reach their goals regardless of their disability.

Resources
The Bergmann Center provides a Program Activity Building, Resale Shop, Garden Area, Handicap Accessible Transport Busses, supplies, tools and equipment (lifts, walkers, exercise equipment), and resources required for individuals to achieve success in their personal goals for employment and community equity.
Programs
The Bergmann Center has numerous educational, work training and recreational programs that assist developmentally disabled to both grow within, and be employed and serve outside in our local community. These programs include Medicaid authorized Community Living Supports, Supported Employment and Vocational training
Staff
The Bergmann Center employs dedicated Direct Care Workers who work directly with clients to achieve their goals. Every day they provide activities and learning opportunities inside the building, at the Resale Shop and in the community, including job training, life and occupational skills. Staff are certified in CPR/First Aid and receive rigorous training in Recipient Rights as well as policies and procedures.
Upkeep
The newly refurbished Bergmann Center on Martin Road provides a safe, clean, and productive environment for our clients to learn and socialize. This facility features a full kitchen learning center, arts and crafts center, physical exercise center, general activity room, laundry learning center, restrooms, a shower, and more!
