Bergmann Center, Inc. is proud to hold a Three-Year Accreditation from CARF International, valid through 2028. CARF is a globally recognized, independent accreditor of health and human services providers, and is known for its rigorous evaluation of quality, safety, and organizational excellence.

​​This accreditation reflects our deep commitment to continuous improvement, person-centered care, and operational integrity. The CARF survey process includes months of preparation, independent interviews, policy reviews, and on-site evaluations to ensure that every aspect of our service delivery meets internationally accepted standards.​

The â€‹"CARF Acceditation Report, 2025" recognized Bergmann Center for:

  • A strong, mission-driven board of directors

  • Exceptional staff training and health/safety practices

  • Authentic compassion and proactive communication with families

Bergmann Center Inc. is a  501(c)3 non-profit organization serving the developmentally disabled, physically disabled,  and mentally ill community  in Northern Lower Michigan.​​
